The Zenhaven is also flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Company side feels a bit firmer), which might prove handy if you’re not sure what you prefer or if your requirements change over time. This is not a traditionally soft bed mattress, however it offers a flexible cushion, good edge support, and a subtle springiness.
These mattresses were also assessed in our group tests conducted for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam mattresses and the finest innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior staff writer for sleep, I’ve interviewed ratings of experts in the mattress industry and in products science; visited lots of bed mattress factories, display rooms, and stores; and pored over the fine print on specifications, guarantees, and return policies.
Making sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with an option of firmness levels and accommodating nearly every convenience preference– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Can You Wash Cover On Leesa Mattress
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid designed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. We do know that the company uses thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and just organic cotton (rather of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva touts such additionals as zoned layers for “ideal spinal column support”; we’re less satisfied with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and resilient foams and coils.
