For this review, I slept on the Saatva Classic, the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for a number of weeks in my own house. These mattresses were likewise assessed in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam mattresses and the best innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel author for sleep, I have actually spoken with scores of professionals in the bed mattress market and in products science; gone to dozens of bed mattress display rooms, factories, and stores; and read the fine print on specs, warranties, and return policies. Most just recently, monitoring editor Courtney Schley examined the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for numerous weeks.
Making sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with a choice of firmness levels and accommodating almost every comfort preference– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Mattress Reviews Nectar Casper Vs Saatva
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid designed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brands. But we do know that the company utilizes thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (rather than chemicals or fiberglass) and just organic cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress business, Saatva promotes such extras as zoned layers for “ideal spine assistance”; we’re less amazed with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and durable foams and coils.
