The Zenhaven is likewise flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Firm side feels a bit firmer), which might prove helpful if you’re not sure what you choose or if your requirements alter over time. This is not a traditionally cushy mattress, but it offers a flexible cushion, great edge assistance, and a subtle springiness.
These bed mattress were also assessed in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the finest foam bed mattress and the best innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel writer for sleep, I’ve spoken with scores of experts in the mattress industry and in products science; checked out dozens of mattress showrooms, shops, and factories; and pored over the great print on specifications, warranties, and return policies.
Understanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with a choice of firmness levels and accommodating practically every convenience choice– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Mlily Fusion Latex Hybrid Mattress 12
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid developed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brands. We do know that the company utilizes thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and only organic cotton (rather of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva promotes such bonus as zoned layers for “optimal spinal column support”; we’re less satisfied with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer support and resilient foams and coils.
