The all-foam Zenhaven consists mainly of latex, which is fundamentally long lasting. The Zenhaven is likewise flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Gentle Firm side feels a bit firmer), which may show useful if you’re not sure what you choose or if your needs change over time. This is not a conventionally cushy mattress, but it uses a supple cushion, good edge assistance, and a subtle springiness. Provided its inherent durability, the Zenhaven should work well for individuals who weigh more than 200 pounds.
These mattresses were likewise examined in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam mattresses and the best innerspring mattresses. As Wirecutter’s senior staff author for sleep, I’ve talked to ratings of experts in the mattress industry and in materials science; checked out lots of mattress factories, shops, and showrooms; and pored over the fine print on requirements, guarantees, and return policies.
Understanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with a choice of firmness levels and catering to almost every convenience choice– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Saatva Mattress Manufacturing Delays
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid created for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environmentally friendly” brand names. We do know that the business uses thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and only natural cotton (rather of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress business, Saatva promotes such extras as zoned layers for “ideal spine assistance”; we’re less impressed with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and resilient foams and coils.
