For this evaluation, I slept on the Saatva Classic, the Loom & Leaf, and the Zenhaven bed mattress for numerous weeks in my own house. These bed mattress were also evaluated in our group tests conducted for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam bed mattress and the best innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel writer for sleep, I have actually talked to ratings of experts in the mattress market and in materials science; gone to dozens of bed mattress stores, display rooms, and factories; and pored over the small print on specs, service warranties, and return policies. Most just recently, supervising editor Courtney Schley evaluated the Saatva Latex Hybrid in her home for several weeks.
Understanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– numerous with a choice of firmness levels and catering to practically every comfort preference– includes: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Sheets For King Saatva Mattress
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid created for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. We do understand that the company uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to chemicals or fiberglass) and just organic cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress business, Saatva promotes such additionals as zoned layers for “ideal spinal column support”; we’re less pleased with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and durable foams and coils.
