The Zenhaven is likewise flippable (the Luxury Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Company side feels a bit firmer), which may show useful if you’re not sure what you prefer or if your requirements alter over time. This is not a conventionally soft mattress, but it uses a supple cushion, great edge assistance, and a subtle springiness.
These bed mattress were also evaluated in our group tests performed for Wirecutter’s guides to the best foam bed mattress and the best innerspring bed mattress. As Wirecutter’s senior personnel writer for sleep, I’ve interviewed scores of professionals in the mattress market and in materials science; visited dozens of mattress shops, factories, and showrooms; and pored over the great print on specs, guarantees, and return policies.
Making sense of Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– lots of with an option of firmness levels and accommodating almost every convenience preference– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Tempur Pedic Tempur Ergo Base Box Spring
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid developed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brand names. However we do understand that the business utilizes thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (instead of chemicals or fiberglass) and just organic cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress business, Saatva touts such bonus as zoned layers for “optimal spine support”; we’re less impressed with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer care and durable foams and coils.
